Though the name "espresso" indicates that the drink is consumed quickly, it is still worth the time to sit down and mindfully appreciate it. Ladies Night Out

I've had the reference photo for this painting since my 2010 trip to Paris. It took a while before I was comfortable painting more than one person together. Also I was always focused on painting things that were distinctly Parisian. Aside from the people smoking and the Chanel bag, you really can't tell where this is, which is fine. Most of my recent work is about people doing their thing, wherever it is.
