Cafe Gerbeaud
I painted this from a photo I took during our visit to Cafe Gerbeaud in Budapest. We had to go there twice so we could try twice as many desserts. This painting will be on exhibit at The Artist's Hand Gallery in Indiana, PA. The show starts tomorrow and goes through October 22nd. Oil on 20" x 20" stretched linen. SOLD.

Cafe Schwarzenberg
This was the cafe my husband and I visited on our anniversary after we went to the opera in Vienna (quick travel tip: I learned from my Rick Steves book that you can get inexpensive standing room only opera tickets in Vienna, which is what we did. That way you get the opera experience, but if you're like us and don't speak the language, and therefore have no idea what's going on, you can leave early.) At this cafe, I had my first experience with pancake soup. There are thin strips of pancakes in broth, rather than noodles, and it is very good. Oil on 20"h x 16"w stretched canvas. SOLD.
