Sassy Cat

My cat, Oliver looked more sassy and grumpy than he actually was. He was very shy when we first adopted him, but over time he became like a little shadow, accompanying us wherever we went in the house. This was part of UGallery's Ornamental Artwork Collection, which can be viewed here. SOLD.

Dexter the Cat

Dexter is my grandmother's cat, and I'm pretty sure he is related to my late cat Oliver, as they have similar appearances and personalities. Gray and white cats are my favorite to paint because the light, shadows and reflections create interesting colors in their fur, and the gray helps you know that those aren't really colors, they're just reflections. Oliver

This is a life-size acrylic painting of my late cat, Oliver, that I recently completed as part of a mural in our town. He can now continue to watch over the town, which was one of his favorite activities.

Cat-Shaped Sink

I sometimes don't understand cats. They supposedly dislike water, yet mine both love to sit in the sink and bathtub. I think because we keep them indoors, they miss the exercise of hunting for something. So they hunt for water sources in my house. We give them a trickle of water from the faucet to reward them for their hard work. Plus there aren't many things cozier for a cat than a cat-shaped sink. As long as they don't knock our toothbrushes on the floor or in the toilet, I'm okay with it. Oil on 12" x 12" stretched linen. SOLD.

On the Edge of His Seat

Cat on a Messy Sofa

Birdwatching
