Alfred and Sunflowers

This oil painting of my cat Alfred sniffing sunflowers was supposed to be 8" x 8" but I kind of like the unfinished, sketchy paint edges, so I may make it bigger. Like Stella, he appreciates plants. Like the other paintings in my "Cat Week" or now, "Cat Fortnight" series, 25% of the sale price will help local cats in need. If you are purchasing from my website, note that this is the correct image. Squarespace will not allow me to post anything other than portrait format. SOLD.

Curious Cat

A painting of my cat, Alfred, on a mission to see what this cupcake is all about. Oil on 11"h x 14"w stretched linen. This painting is available at the Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art in Ligonier, PA. It is part of the show I am having with my mother, Jolene Joyner, called "Looking for the Light in Dark times." Please visit this page SOLD.

Alert Cat

A painting of my sleek Alfred with his ears in the alert position. Oil on 4" x 4" stretched canvas. SOLD.

This painting as well as the following nine paintings were included in the Holiday Exclusive Mini Masterpiece Collection at UGallery.com. Many thanks to those who added my paintings to their collections!

Coffee Cat

My Alfred likes to hang out on the kitchen countertop. He even eats his canned breakfast and dinner up there, away from Stella who always tries to steal his food. I painted this from a photo I took while preparing both of our breakfasts one morning. Oil on 6"h x 4"w stretched canvas. SOLD.

Alfred

A painting of my handsome man, Alfred. We thought he looked like a bat when we got him as a kitten, and thought about naming him Bruce Wayne. But, we were pretty sure we weren't the first people to think of that, so we named him after Batman's butler. Oil on 4" x 4" stretched canvas. SOLD.

The Kitchen Supervisor

Since gaining the ability to jump onto the kitchen countertop, my kitten, Alfred, supervises the preparation of every meal, and also makes sure I clean up properly. He likes to chirp at the bubbles that escape the dish soap bottle and float into the air. Oil on 12"h x 9"w stretched linen. SOLD.

Curious Cats

My cats, Alfred and Stella, were curious about my chocolate cupcake (stuffed with a cherry and cheesecake filling) and shot of brandy. Of course, it was not a snack suitable for cats, but I did let them have a little bit of milk from the creamer. Oil on 11"h x 14"w stretched linen. SOLD.
