Leave it to Stella to try to eat the cake in my still life. She loves carbs. Please note that she is not licking a sharp knife... it is actually a very dull cake server and I intervened before she made contact (I just don't want animal rights activists to have reason for concern. I would never put my babies in danger!) Oil on 11"h x 14"w stretched canvas. SOLD.

This is an adorable painting and the cake looks delicious! But, I'm on a diet now so that is probably why I'm drooling! Seriously, great colors and great composition. This one really caught my eye!
Thank you very much! I also am trying to refrain from eating sweets, but when painting a picture of cake, I want to visit the local bakery!
