Sunny Day in Manhattan

I snapped the reference photo for this painting while my husband ducked into a shop to grab a Pepsi to wake up. He sadly doesn't drink coffee. But, if he didn't stop I wouldn't have had time to admire the busy, sunny street. Oil on 12"h x 16"w MDF panel with 1 1/2" cradled pine sides. SOLD.

Crossing the Brooklyn Bridge

My husband and I visited New York City in April. We have been there several times, yet still always find something new to see. For the first time ever, we saw and walked across the Brooklyn Bridge and visited the Dumbo area. I didn't realize you had to walk across the top level of the bridge, and it was a little scary to look down at times! I was glad we did it, though. Oil on 16"h x 20"w x 1 1/2"d stretched linen.
