Crossing the Brooklyn Bridge

My husband and I visited New York City in April. We have been there several times, yet still always find something new to see. For the first time ever, we saw and walked across the Brooklyn Bridge and visited the Dumbo area. I didn't realize you had to walk across the top level of the bridge, and it was a little scary to look down at times! I was glad we did it, though. Oil on 16"h x 20"w x 1 1/2"d stretched linen. The streets of Rome are chaotic as pedestrians and drivers alike navigate the city. The storefronts along streets such as this one offer many temptations in the form of coffee, crostini, pastries, and clothing shops. Everyone is in a hurry to see as many of these places as possible.
