Alley in Indiana

This painting of an alley in Indiana, PA, was inspired by one of the walks I took with my dog. She was a husky and would never get tired, though she walked very slowly as she aged. We have probably walked on every street in town, and many of the alleys, such as this one. After she passed away, I walked in the same places as a way to remember her. Oil on 11"h x 14"w stretched canvas.

Alley in Siena

I've never painted a street that dips down, then back up again. I wanted to see if I could re-create the effect. Oil on 12" x 16" stretched linen. Painted from a photo I took in Siena, Itay a few years ago. SOLD.

Misty Morning in Indiana

For anyone who is familiar with Indiana, PA, this is the view from the top of Water Street looking toward town. I painted this from a photo I took on a cold morning last winter. I liked the misty atmosphere and the smoke coming from the chimneys. Oil on 11"h x 14"w stretched linen. Framed with gold plein air style frame. SOLD.

Afternoon in Greenwich Village

As dinner time approaches, the streets of New York's Greenwich Village start to liven up even more . I visited in April during a warm, sunny weekend and enjoyed wandering the sunny streets at happy hour, stopping here and there for coffee or a glass of wine. Oil on 12"h x 18"w stretched linen. SOLD.
