Night Time in Shadyside

This painting is perfect for this time of year. It is a mysterious looking evening in the Shadyside neighborhood of Pittsburgh. It isn't meant to be a Halloween painting, but it definitely conveys the atmosphere of the season. Oil on 9"h x 12"w x 1" stretched linen. Available at Gallery on 43rd Street, Pittsburgh, PA.

This is a painting of my mischievous cat, Alfred, trying to steal my breakfast from the kitchen countertop. Oil on 11"h x 14"w x 1"d stretched linen.

This is one of the paintings that will be at my show of new work at Gallery on 43rd Street in Pittsburgh, PA. The exhibit runs from November 4 - December 31, 2016. This collection of work mostly revolves around the idea of home.  Home can be anywhere including my house, town, country, family homes and anywhere in the world where I feel peace.  Included in this collection are paintings inspired by Pittsburgh, New York City, Paris and Tuscany.
