Oliver went crazy one day while I prepared this snack for myself. He thought it would be something he could sink his teeth into and was disappointed to find out that cats don't like wine or apples. This painting is on 9" w x 12" h canvas panel.

Hey, This Isn't Catfood!
Oliver went crazy one day while I prepared this snack for myself. He thought it would be something he could sink his teeth into and was disappointed to find out that cats don't like wine or apples. This painting is on 9" w x 12" h canvas panel.

Cat on a Dresser

When Oliver's scratching at the blankets doesn't wake me up in the morning, he jumps up on the dresser and threatens to knock my valuable perfume and other breakable items on the floor. Then he likes to scratch at his reflection in the mirror, which we refer to as Bizoliver, because it is like a Bizarro World Oliver. The painting is on 9" h x 12" w canvas panel.

Cat and instruments

It's amazing how cats can walk among the most fragile things and not break them unless they intend to. I often have finished paintings laying all over my studio floor to dry and am nervous that my cat will step on them. I rarely isolate him from my studio while I'm working there because he likes to hang out with me. He has never stepped on one of my paintings yet. He has knocked a digital camera from my dining room table, however, but it must have reminded him of a mouse. this painting is 20" w x 16" h. SOLD.

Messy Dining Room Table with Cat
Cats are drawn the areas that you want them to stay away from. On one occasion, Oliver actually knocked a digital camera off the table. It broke, but it gave me a good reason to upgrade. I now try to keep the table as clutter free as possible, but sometimes things pile up as in this painting. This is oil on canvas...it is the 1 1/8 thick canvas, which could be left unframed. It is 5 1/2" w x 12" h. SOLD.

Cat with Slippers and Fishy Toy
Oliver the cat is resting from playing. He likes to play with this fish-toy that is attached to a string. He sometimes ducks behind things, as if he were in the wild and sneaking up on his prey. In this case, he had hid behind slippers to give Mr. Fish a false sense of security, which appears to have worked because he caught him. This oil painting is on 8" h x 10" w canvas board. It is for sale on Ebay. SOLD.Dec 1, 2008

Where's the Bus?
I painted this from a photograph that I took while getting ready to leave for our most recent vacation. I think the cat is starting to understand the significance of suitcases. When he sees us packing them and placing them by the door, he knows that all the grandparents will be visiting every day to spoil him even more than he already is. This painting is 10" w x 8" h. SOLD Jul 23, 2008
Cat at Rest
After reading a book and drinking a glass of wine, sometimes one needs a nap. And I was going to take one until Oliver the cat kicked me off the sofa. He hadn't read a book or drank any wine, but I guess watching the birds fly outside the window can be almost as tiresome. This painting is 8" w x 10" h. SOLDMay 18, 2008
